| Benelli Mastopexy with Breast Augmentation: For mild to moderate sag or ptosis | ||
| Many patients are candidates for Benelli Mastopexy which results in only a scar around the areola, but if the nipple must be moved a long distance, or if the skin is very loose, then | an additional vertical scar, and in some cases, a crease scar will be necessary as well. Fortunately, breast scars, when necessary, will fade and flatten with passage of time. | |
Photos Before and After Surgery:
| Case 1: A 42 year old with very thin skin, scant breast tissue, and significant ptosis or sag. Breast Enhancement by Implant Augmentation and Benelli Mastopexy Breast Lift. She is 5'2", 105 lbs, and "A" cup size pre-op. | ![]() |

Results are shown after bilateral Augmentation and Benelli Mastopexy Breast Lift. She achieved her desire for a small "C" cup given her small frame with 225cc smooth saline implants placed via Trans-axillary approach, with separate approach to the Benelli type Donut Mastopexy to avoid contamination of implants with germs known to reside in the ducts of the breasts. In some instances the implants are placed via the areolar approach as well. Scars are already virtually invisible in these 3 months post-op photos. Implants are placed in the submuscular plane to prevent interference with mammography, wrinkling of the implants, and capsule contracture. |

| Case 2: A 37 year old with significant breast ptosis is shown before and after a Benelli Mastopexy done in combination with Breast Augmentation via the Trans- Axillary incision approach. | ![]() |

The same patient shown at twelve weeks after the Benelli Lift. At this point the final result is not yet achieved since there will be some further relaxation of the skin, and resolution of mild skin pleating around the areola due to the skin tightening procedure. The redness of the peri-areolar scar will fade with the passage of time, and visible scarring of the breast has been prevented. |

| Case 3: A 37 year old with ptosis and breast volume loss. Axillary Augmentation and Benelli Mastopexy were done to increase the breast volume while reducing the skin jacket size. | ![]() |

Photos before and three months after Benelli Lift and Axillary Breast Augmentation has left no visible scars on the breast. Pleating on the skin around the areola has resolved. The goal of this surgery can be enlargement and restoration of breast shape, or restoration of the shape with small increase of breast volume. |
