| Facelift and Necklift are carried out as a single procedure, elevating the skin and soft tissues of the face and neck, and returning them to their original location, thus restoring a "rested" or more youthful appearance. Face Lift / Neck Lift is often combined with Browlift and Lid Lift (Blepharoplasty) Surgery. (see related links below) Facial and neck muscle layers are also elevated and tightened by this technique, thus restoring sharper contours to the neck and jawline as well as restoring shape to the cheeks, and highlighting | the cheekbones. This surgery is generally performed in our Office Surgical Suite. Recovery time is usually 10 to 14 days before swelling and possible bruising resolve, although I have seen patients look quite good in makeup at only one week. Although Facelift and Necklift will restore the major facial contours, especially the jawline, finer wrinkles of the skin will persist, but can be addressed by CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing.
