MicroDroplet Fat Injections for Facial Contour Enhancement or Restoration

MicroDroplet Fat Injections or LipoStructure Technique:

Collagen, and more recently Juvederm and Restylane   have been used traditionally as readily available, albeit  expensive,  injectable soft tissue  fillers  for  temporary cosmetic  and  restorative purposes.     Recyclable body fat is  an  especially   well-suited  injectable  material  for  facial contour enhancement.    Not a new concept, fat injection has been tried many times in the past with limited success.  The pioneering   work  of  Sidney Coleman, MD   has  led  to  a renaissance in fat injection techniques, leading to success with proper harvest,   purification, and injection transfer of the fat.  Low vacuum pressure  Syringe Tumescent Liposuction is employed to gently harvest the fat from a convenient source, such as the hip, or stomach.  The fat is then centrifuged for purity,  and gently transferred to the target area of the face by many passes of specially  designed   fine  blunt   fat  transfer  needles. MicroDroplet Fat Transfer  can  be used to highlight the lips, cheekbones, and jawline, and  is  effective  to  improve  the deep lines that   bracket  the  mouth.  Re-injection of  fat lost from the area of the eyelids  and  orbits  can restore a more youthful appearance, and   MicroDroplet  Fat   Transfer can also be used to restore fat which  is lost from the hands with onset of age.  The injected fat will remain long-term in most areas,   although  touchups  are   occasionally  necessary.
