| Mini -Tummy Tuck or Mini-Abdominoplasty with Tumescent Liposuction |
| Mini-Tummy Tuck: | ||
| Following pregnancy or weight fluctuations, many patients, particularly women, find that they have resistant fat pockets on the abdominal wall, loose unsightly skin, and stretch marks on the lower abdomen. Although usually addressed by Full Abdominoplasty in the past, now the technique of Mini - Abdominoplasty can correct most, or all, of these problems. Mini-Tummy Tuck may be done alone or can be paired with Tumescent Liposuction of the abdomen, hips or thighs to restore a youthful abdominal contour, and a trim waist-line. In some instances Mini-Tummy Tuck may | be chosen over Full Tummy Tuck to limit the recovery time, cost, or risk, while also accepting a slightly less dramatic result, but in other instances, Mini-Tummy Tuck is all that is necessary to provide the best benefit. Mini-Tummy Tuck is one of the many surgeries that I routinely perform in my Office Surgical Suite. They can also be done at a nearby hospital outpatient Surgery Center. | Case1: A 43 year old woman post pregnancies and at ideal body weight with excess skin of the lower abdomen and an unsightly C-section scar with excess fat over the hips. |  |

Before & after photos show results of Mini-Tummy Tuck & Tumescent Liposuction of the hip roll area. Note the improvement of abdominal contour and correction of bulges over the lateral hips. This tummy tuck was done in the Office Surgical Suite under local anesthesia with mild IV sedation. Redness of scar will fade over time. |
| Case 2: A 36 yr old woman post -pregnancies with loose abdominal skin, stretchmarks, and fat accumulation on the stomach, hips and thighs. |  |

Pre-op and post-op photos show the improvement at about 6 months after Mini- Tummy Tuck & Tumescent Liposuction of the stomach, hips, and lateral thighs. She also underwent later Breast Enlargement. Scar is fading nicely at this point. |
