| Mini Tummy Tuck and Tumescent Liposuction Correction of Post-Pregnancy Physical Changes: | ||

A combination of tumescent liposuction and mini-tummy tuck can be used as one of the restorative surgery options for changes to the trunk after pregnancy, now collectively grouped as the Mommy Makeover. In the examples below, no breast surgery was desired, but abdominal and trunk contour correction was accomplished under local anesthesia in my AAAASF-certified office surgery suite. Since there is minimal bleeding with this technique, there is minimal bruising, swelling, or pain, and the results are evident much more quickly. Patients are ready to leave the office almost immediately after surgery, shower at 24-48 hours, and return to work in a few days, with exercise at 2 weeks. A light compression garment or binder are used for 2 weeks to limit swelling. Representative patient photos are displayed below. |

| Case 2: A 34 year old woman with history of two pregnancies and with undesirable post-partum fat distribution and abdominal skin laxity. Exercise and dieting were futile. Treatment was by Tumescent Liposuction and Mini Tummy Tuck under local anesthesia. |  |
