Trans-Axillary Augmentation Scars

Trans-axillary Augmentation Scars:
Trans-axillary placement of breast  implants is my approach of choice for   breast  augmentation or enlargement surgery, although other approaches  are also available.  This  allows virtual  elimination  of  visible  scars  in most patients, and eliminates any  scars on the breast.    Several examples appear below.

Photos Before and After Surgery:

Case 1:             Augmentation  result  in  a  31 yr  old   woman (Case 3   on  previous  page) by   Trans-Axillary   technique with     sub-muscular      saline breast implants.  Trans-axillary augmentation, Breast implants Augmentation mammaplasty, Saline implants Three month appearance of   axillary   scars   after  breast augmentation   using   425cc  saline       breast      implants.  Note  the  left  scar is  almost   invisible,   but  the  right  scar  is still a bit red. This scar will gradually fade as well
Case 2:        A   very  thin  31 year old  woman underwent Breast     Augmentation    by Trans - Axillary     approach.   Scars  are  shown  3 months post-op. Before and After implants, Breast enlargement Augmentation mammaplasty, breast shape, size These scars will   be  very  inconspicuous   when   the redness      fades.        This patient  has   scant  breast tissue      and       a       very prominent     breast   bone,   but    still      has   achieved  excellent breast shape by  placing her implants  in the  sub-muscular   position.
Case 3:     A  3 year post-op  photo  showing  axillary scar  in a  25 year old.  The scar is virtually invisible even  when  viewed   in  the  office during  this   follow - up exam. Axillary scars, D cup, C cup, 34D, 34C, Saline implants Trans  -  Axillary      Breast  Augmentation      scar    is   virtually     invisible    even  when viewed  in the office during this follow-up exam.
Case 4:  Three months after   trans-axillary  augmentation mammaplasty. before and after breast implant photos, implants Axillary    scars  are   already  minimally visible at 3 months.  The breast implants lie deep   to  the  pectoral   muscles.
