| Welcome to Advanced Art of Cosmetic Surgery offering advanced cosmetic surgery services to national and international patients in Richmond, Virginia. This website is a resource to provide balanced and accurate information regarding many concepts in cosmetic surgery of the body and face. My passion (other than my wife, Sherri) has always been surgery. My love for surgery is naturally blended with the artistic approach to cosmetic surgery. The draping of the facial skin to create smooth natural lines, the proportioning of the breast to the rest of the body to create a symmetry that compliments each individual woman while still maintaining beautiful breast shape, and contouring the body to create smooth curves and confidence are the benefits of cosmetic surgery. I draw on this artistic approach along with exceptional surgical training and knowledge to attain the most beautiful outcomes, while avoiding common and less-common complications. These techniques along with extensive experience have given me the ability to correct those complications for patients who have come to see me from all over the world. I have performed over 7,000 breast augmentation procedures, including complex revision of failed augmentation procedures from as far away as Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. My practice is one of the busiest practices in the country. I am one of the principal investigators in the Mentor Silicone Core Gel Study, which served as the FDA's basis for approval of silicone breast implants for cosmetic use in 2006 and I am proud to say I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
